Tegu Blocks
We completely understand if traditional blocks have never done much for your little one - stacking things can only hold your attention for so long, especially if you're a bit clumsy (not that we know anything about that). However, the fun to be had with Tegu Blocks is pretty much limitless, since these eco-friendly wooden blocks have magnets inside of them, allowing them to be stacked and combined in zillions of way. There are various sets available, but we're going to spring for the Original Set ($90), which includes 52 pieces in various shapes. Once the kid goes to bed, we're totally having a field day with these!
