Sadly, if you were born after 1985, you're younger than Nintendo. That doesn't mean you didn't still sit in front of an NES and play The Legend of Zelda until your fingers were numb, but the younger you are, the slimmer the chances of that. Today's kids are gonna need the Nintendo Iron-on Embroidered Patch Set ($8). They'll know about Nintendo controllers only through the ramblings of their parents: "When we were kids..." But they probably won't even hear, because they'll be too busy playing video games on the computer chips implanted in their eyeballs.
