Is this legal? We sure as heck hope so. The Babykeeper ($40) looks like a fantastic way to keep junior out of trouble when you're out and about without having to drag along a stroller or car seat, which we think makes it a great fit for BabyBjörn moms. It also gets nostalgia points for ever-so-slightly reminding us of the classic Baby Barrel, which not only keeps your kids from crawling onto the basement stairs, but also has a spot for a warming pan in the bottom so they stay nice and cozy.

Please tell me this is a joke left over from April Fools Day. Since there is no sarcasm font, I'm going to assume this gadget is real.
This (along with the Baby Bjorn referenced in the blurb) are crotch danglers - baby's weight is not evenly distributed along its butt, it's all concentrate on the groin. I can't imagine that to be comfortable. For a better baby wearing experience, look into a Beco, Ergo, or Boba baby carrier. They're in the same price range as the Baby Bjorn, but the weight range is much better. As far as this thing... Yikes!
