There may have been a few consecutive Christmases in which we did the whole Martha Stewart tree thing. (You know, monochromatic bows and themed glass balls, et cetera and so on.) It sure was pretty, but kinda boring, too, so now we toss everything we've got at our trees, especially fun decorations like the Snow Yeti Ornament ($8), handmade in Nepal for Ten Thousand Villages. This guy is too cute to hide in a bottom corner, or around back, so we put him front and center on our now eclectically decorated trees.
