We all end up attending a frabjillion holiday parties, and want to look like the belle of the jingle ball at each one. We've also all got to-gift lists as long as our arm. Budget-wise, those two statements don't always go hand-in-hand, so each of us OB editors have come up with a complete head-to-toe holiday party look for different types of parties for $150 or less. That way, you'll look like the special snowflake you are, while still having a little cash left over to buy Great Aunt Mildred that bath powder set she's been dropping hints about.
Festivus, as I'm sure you all know by this point, is for the m*fing rest of us. It's the no stress holiday party - no presents, no pressure to wear that quilted vest your dear grannie gave you last year, no forcing down spoonfuls of 7-Layer salad with an extra helping of guilt. With Airing of Grivences and Feats of Strength on the agenda you want to make sure your Festivus ensemble allows you to move comfortably. You don't want to rip your favorite silk blouse during a round of arm wrestling or drunken ring toss. The metallic tunic is sparkly and carries an air of the holiday spirit and the heeled oxfords are a nod to sweet, sweet Elaine Benes. Get ready for some Festivus miracles.

Trajano here: Conundrums about clothes and accessories are my tasty cup of tea. I am a firm believer in a rich and varied wardrobe so if you want to change, update, or inject some forward fashion into your closet I can hook you up. In my capricious youth I would invest (or squander...don't judge) most of an entire paycheck on a pair of shoes or killer jacket and then live on $27 for two weeks. My dedication to looking lovely runs deep.
