A Man's Gift Guide to Men: The Mr. Fix-It Male

Sun Tzu summed up gift-giving best when he said, "Know your enemy." But how are you supposed to know what secrets lurk in the dark alleyways of the male psyche? Read our Man's Gift Guide to Men. Thankfully Outblush found one such male and took it back to the lab, so we can learn more about this fascinating and alien gender.

Most people abide by the adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." ...Most people. Where others see completeness and complacency, the Mr. Fix-It Male sees wobbly table legs and uneven shelving. In the most severe cases it's similar to hypochondria...but you're willing to overlook that for the sake of free labor.

Shopping for the Mr. Fix-It Male is pretty tricky. Tools might work, but DIYers are pretty particular about their tools, and unless you know for sure they need something, you're taking a risk. You might be better off going the book route: how-to books and crafts projects tend to hit home with these amateur experts. Play it safe with a book about what they like (i.e., woodworking), or go for the rewarding gamble by trying to introduce them to something new (i.e., building a Death Robot from scratch).
