Okay kids, what have we learned about driving while yakking? Well, in some of our states, the po po will give us a hefty little ticket. How bout we save the cost of the ticket and just invest in one of these Steering Wheel Bluetooth Speakerphone systems ($100)? Seems so much easier than pulling out that license and registration.

How about we just don't talk on the phone while we're driving? 'Cause even speakerphones detract from our ability to pay attention to the road - no such thing as multi-tasking remember!

Pamela, We completely agree, but we're also realistic enough to know that until every state outlaws yakking and driving, people are going to do it. Maybe, just maybe, a device like Bluetooth makes it moderately safer. Still, we're in complete agreement with your point...it would be awesome if everyone just stopped distracting themselves.

Yikes! I have to disagree again: "until every state outlaws yakking and driving, people are going to do it." Wait. We have to count on the STATE to force us to not kill ourselves or others?? That's immaturity to the nth degree! This is not that hard really....just put it away. I wonder why people don't get that? Oh yeah - it will NEVER happen to me! :(
