While we melt under the blazing summer sun, just knowing that the blast furnace outside is really only 99 degrees instead of 100 degrees is air conditioning for the mind. The Oregon Scientific +ECO Clima Control Weather Station ($120) will soak up all that toasty sunlight and in turn provide you with home temperature readings and weather forecasts. It'll also run for three months on a scant eight hours of sunlight, which is good if you live in Alaska or something where the sun doesn't rise for, like, a couple months. Ouch.
