We're one week away from the dawn of Windows 7 ($120, Home Premium upgrade). Cue the obligatory "Also Sprach Zarathustra." Are you gonna update? Or do you plan on white-knuckling it into the next decade with what you got? If this new release lives up to its billing -- seven is not the most humble of numbers -- then computing's gonna be a whole lot spiffier. If not, then prepare for bitter tears and recriminations. And Blue Screens of Death. But , hey, we're staying positive. (Fake smile, fake smile). Update: Eligible college students can grab an upgrade for just $30 bucks! Visit this link for details. (Thanks, SamBarb!)

I've been working with Windows 7 Beta on a partition of my PC.
I recommend 7 for anyone still suffering with Vista and for those looking to upgrade.
Plus! Microsoft has a $30 Windows 7 deal for college students! Woot!

That's right! If you have a current .edu email address at one of the eligible institutions listed on Microsoft's site, you qualify for the upgrade. We added the link to the post.
