We come across a lot of digital cameras here, but few match the performance and elegance (and price tag) of cameras made by the German company Leica. The retro-cool Leica M8.2 Rangefinder Digital Camera ($5,995, lens sold separately) is a hand-crafted, all-metal, minimalist gem that takes all us shutterbugs and dabblers to the next level. Well, at least we look like we know what we're doing when we carry around one of these super-duper objets d'lust. Or, speaking of French, like we just stepped out of a Francois Truffaut film. And in case you were wondering, it does actually take pictures: 10.3 megapixels at a 3:2 aspect ratio with a top shutter speed of 1/4000 sec. Body also available in all-black.
