So it's that time of year again where we find ourselves either taking lots of pictures or actually being in lots of them. Sure, we've gotten used to snuggling up to that 2.5" screen on the back of the camera to ogle our holiday pics, but it can be handy to go old school and (gasp) even make a print. The talky Canon Selphy ES40 ($89) is a compact photo printer that, yes, uses an automated voice to guide you through the printing process. (It's not as creepy as it sounds. And you can turn it off.) The carrying handle is convenient, and it takes just about any memory card out there. Prints are 28 cents each if you get the 100-photo pack ($28).
