So, is it time to go back to school or what? What the heck are we supposed to do with the kiddos for another six weeks? Enter the solution to our problem, at least for a week or so: The Outdoor Explorer Kit ($40). A sketchbook, some basic art supplies, a bug checklist, magnifying glass and headlamp should occupy the tiny adventurer for a little while. At least long enough for mommy to splash some vodka in her lemonade, which is all we're really asking.
