So if you really truly were never the kind of kid who played computer games until too late at night, you can skip this post. But if you were, and you didn't know about GOG.com (short for Good Old Games), prepare yourself for a week, at least, of almost no sleep. For no more than $10 each (and frequently less, all the way down to free) you can download old favorite titles that may not be up to current graphical standards, but are very, very fine entertainment nontheless: Baldur's Gate, Battle Chess, Myst, Master of Orion, the King's Quest series, the Might & Magic series, Gobliiins, Beyond Good & Evil, XIII, Fallout, The Manhole, Planescape: Torment, Psychonauts, Syberia, and so on and on . . . yeah, go get a six-pack of something caffeinated and a bag of chips. We'll wait.
