Though we definitely respect Grandma for always making her own pasta sauce, it's only fair to point out that she has a lot of free time on her hands. Until retirement, we'll stick to buying sauce at the grocery store. Alas, one of the main downsides of the store-bought varieties is all of that unnecessary sugar added in place of actual flavoring. Vino de Milo Artichoke Fennel Pasta Sauce ($7) skips the sugar in favor of real taste. The tangy artichoke heart flavor is so good, even Grandma will wish she had the recipe.
