As a rule, we like our chickpeas ground to a pulp and mixed with a healthy dose of tahini. Mmm, hummus. The exception is when they're roasted and served by the handful in the form of The Good Bean Chickpea Snacks ($19 for six bags!). It's like munching on peanuts or popcorn, only better - you get the satisfaction of eating lots at a time minus the high fat and carb content. A fourth of a cup is only a hundred and forty calories.
