Sterling Truffle Bars
We all think of truffles as cute little one-or-two bite bits of chocolatey decadence, but Sterling Confections has taken them to a whole new level with their superlative Sterling Truffle Bars. ($15-26) These triangular-shaped handpainted bars combine layers of flavored truffle ganache, meant to be sliced and displayed, perfect for parties. There are seven rich flavors to choose from, including Banana Honey Caramel, White Chocolate Raspberry & Peppermint, and Pineapple Ginger Macademia Nut, but we especially loved the Cappucino Liqueur with a Twist. Layers of milk chocolate, coffee-infused white chocolate, dark chocolate, coffee liqueur, and an aromatic accent of lemon result in a unique truffle that echoes the best, crisply floral notes of chocolate, coffee, and citrus.
