Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale
Rogue has combined two of our all-time favorite things--microbrews and donuts--into one big ol' bottle of beer. Truthfully, the Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale ($13, 750ml bottle) looks a little off-putting. The pepto-bismol colored beer bottle doesn't exactly whet our appetites, but we're willing to overlook that for a sampling of the ale inside. It boasts of real maple syrup from the geniuses at Voodoo Doughnut, Portland's iconic sweet treat spot. Does this mean we can skip the morning pastries in favor of chugging down a bottle of beer for breakfast?
