Harry Potter Countdown: 17 Days Left
We searched high and low for butter beer - to no avail; apparently, products from made-up places are a bit harder to come by than we imagined. Not to worry, we think Witches' Brew Golden Ale ($12) will substitute quite nicely. This gorgeous blond triple ale is sweet, hoppy and bottle conditioned with a natural champagne style cork.
Be warned fellow witches and wizards - the alcohol content is 9.3%. Not recommended for consumption prior to taking your OWLs!

We just went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter (awesome!!) and had butterbeer there. Let me tell you, it was to die for! I wish they bottled it! I would have brought it home for everyone I know.

I went to the Wizarding World in September, and I can definitely confirm that butterbeer was delicious! I had frozen butterbeer, and it was like a caramel/butterscotch frappuccino with a layer of melted vanilla ice cream on top (to leave the mustache). Pumpkin juice was also awesome.
