First & foremost, when DeBrand Fine Chocolates says that these are Giant Chocolate Caramel Apples, ($22-27) they do mean giant. We thought it might've been just the incredibly thick coatings of caramel, chocolate, and nuts, but the apples themselves are about five times the size of your average farmer's market Gala or Honeycrisp. Which means that one of these apples, all told, weighs 2 or 3 pounds and sends up to eight people into a sugar high state in a snap. And boy, is it worth it. Choose from dark or milk chocolate, and with or without nuts. Any way you slice it, they're ooey-gooey-good. Just brush your teeth afterwards.
P.S. - These are a special seasonal item, and will only be available until mid-November at the latest. All the more reason to indulge now!

As a Fort Wayne native (home of DeBrand!), I have to vouch for anything they produce. While their chocolate can get pricey, it is TO DIE FOR. Hands down the best chocolate I have ever tasted in my life. :)

These are insanely delicious. More so when cut up in the office on a sheet of notebook paper.

Just an FYI to those in Canada: Shipping for a single caramel apple costs $59. That's over $60 total for *one* caramel apple, in case you're not so good at math. It's probably more economical to drive down to Indiana and enjoy a trip with that apple. :)
