We'll be honest, most Saturdays we don't even wake up in time to call our first meal of the day "breakfast." Usually we end up in line at our favorite taquito joint. So when we actually make the time to whip up some tasty pancakes, we don't waste the momentous occasion by topping them with imitation syrup. No, sir. This Dean & DeLuca Maple Syrup ($24) features a robust maple flavor that's sure to teach you why they call breakfast the most important meal of the day. All this time we thought it was because of bacon.

An organic maple syrup...
1) Ladies you should know better
2) Real maple syrup comes from Canada

1) The organic designation doesn't mean all that much in the case of maple syrup, it's true. It won't have the same defoaming agent in it and the maker's premises will have been inspected - that's it.
2) Real maple syrup is Algonquian.
