We love to seize the opportunity to celebrate each and every day - after all, the daily grind can be, well, a grind. We're learning that there are many holidays out there that may not have reached "Hallmark" calendar status, but they still count and deserve to be recognized. Preferably with wine. With that being said, we bring to you this very special day (cue "The More You Know" theme song).
Yom Ha'atzmaut is the national independence day of Israel. On this day, Israelis and Israel devotees commemorate Israel's declaration of independence in 1948. In Israel, people decorate their homes with Israeli flags, have picnics and BBQs, sing and dance in the streets, and have silly string and shaving cream fights. Celebrate this historic and triumphant day by indulging in one of Israel's favorite snacks, Bamba ($52 for 24 packs). Bamba are like cheese puffs, but with peanut butter instead. Ezeh yofi!
