We just finished reading Where Underpants Come From: From Cotton Fields to Checkout Counters ($17) by New Zealand travel writer Joe Bennett, and let us tell ya, it was good. It all starts when Joe buys a 5 pack of underwear from his local discount store for around eight dollars. Wondering just how anyone could make a profit off of that, he takes off for China and dives into the processes of, well, underwear making. Both a witty travel account, and a larger economic lesson about what "Made in China" really entails, we can wholeheartedly recommend you pick a copy up. You know, if you're curious about where your undies have come from!
