Who doesn't love Maggie Griffin? The wise-talking, wine loving mother of comedienne Kathy Griffin, she's sweet, funny, and always has a good recommendation for a reasonably priced box of wine. If you watch My Life On the D-List, you know that Tip It! The World According to Maggie ($15) was started primarily as a publicity stunt by Kathy, but we have to say it's a fun read in and of itself. At 90, Maggie has a lot of great life experiences that translate well into life advice, and it's a lighthearted, funny spin on the traditional advice book-cum-memoir. Best read with a box of wine at your side, of course: Tip it!
