So, it looks like our favorite 90s fashionista isn't as Clueless as she seemed... Alicia Silverstone's new vegan handbook, The Kind Diet: A Simple Guide to Feeling Great, Losing Weight, and Saving the Planet ($16) sounds a bit too ambitious for our meat craving body, but honorable just the same. Supposedly, cutting out dairy and meat from our diets gives us mega energy and better skin. We don't believe every fad diet out there, and if we don't get a cheeseburger when we're seeing red PMSing, people are liable to die. This isn't for us, but if you're considering veganism, it seems very informative. Do tell us how that "saving the planet" bit goes.

A vegan diet is not a fad diet and its a FACT (not supposedly) that not eating meat is better for the human body. If you eat meat then buy free range only not factory farmed animals. Respect those who die for you and visit a slaughter plant. Know where your food comes from and how the animal is treated during it's precious life.

Humans have evolved into herbivore's (when's the last time you killed and ate an uncooked animal?). Human teeth, digestive track, etc are the same as herbivore's. Cholesterol and fiber is not a problem for carnivores. - From your friendly biologist.
