Here at Outblush, we're not an unhappy lot of ladies by any means (maybe a little to sour and snarky on occasion, but that's charming, right?). We figure we can always use a little inner zen, which is what Jonathan Haidit's book, The Happiness Hypothesis: Finding Modern Truth in Ancient Wisdom ($12) is all about. Err, well--sort of. The book seeks to explain truths about the way humankind makes decisions--for better or worse--and what we can do to bring enlightenment into our decision-making processes. It's philosophical, anthropological, and sociological all at once and a truly fascinating read. Give it a go--even if you don't agree with all of Haidit's "wisdom," we're pretty sure you'll learn something new!

This book is fantastic! Both me and my husband read it and talked about it for weeks. Great recommendation, Outblush!
