If you found yourself thinking World Cup? Is that when you go to several bars and have a cocktails from a different country at each one?, you're not alone. Some of us are sports ignorant, but it seems like the only people willing to help us know so much that we can't even decipher what they're saying. Melissa Malmut's got us covered with She's Got Game: The Woman's Guide to Loving Sports (or Just How to Fake It!) ($10). A quick read and you'll understand March Madness, when to cheer and when to keep quiet, and even have a good idea about what to wear to a baseball game.

Faking it? How about just saying "Sorry, I don't follow basketball. Have you heard about this_other_issue?"

I think they "fake it" part is just a play on words. I picked up that book and its a lot of info in there! I think the back part with the "quick tips" is the best part and easiest to read before a game.
