Mother's Day Gift Guide: The First 1000 Days
We're long time fans of Nikki McClure's art. Her bold images are cut from single sheets of paper and are truly unique and often quite intricate. This Mother's Day, we're gifting a few of our mom-to-be friends with The First 1000 Days ($10), a baby journal filled with McClure's images. Beyond the beauty of this journal, we like it because instead of having pages full of blanks to fill out with dates, times, statistics, etc, the pages are blank save for some art and simple prompts like "the first time I touched you and saw your face." Awwww.

Hmmm... we're getting old, and losing our minds, I mean memories, but I somehow still don't see this particular book on Outblush yet.
Anyway, it is lovely, and would make a great gift, particularly for a new mom, would it not?
