As writers of this blog, we already consider ourselves to be pretty damn geeky. But How to Be a Geek Goddess ($17) by Christina Tynan-Wood still managed to teach us a thing or two we didn't know, and for that reason (and a thousand others), we dig it. This smart, witty gem of a book helps both the novice geek and the geek guru sort out every technology conundrum. From how to keep your kids safe online and your computer safe from spyware, to buying the right computer for your needs (and your decor!), to starting your own blog, this book has it all. And the first sentence ("My husband is a pompous ass") doesn't hurt, either.
