Every once in a while we vow to forgo processed foods in favor of homemade fare. And then we have a sultry back-alley rendezvous with a Hostess lemon pie. We have a sneaking suspicion, though, that Good to the Grain ($19) will help us accomplish our goal. Full of tasty recipes that don't feel über granola, this cookbook delights with old faithfuls like Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies and newbies like Sweet Potato Muffins.
