We don't know about you, but Alton Brown is our food stuffs idol. We've been fascinated by his show, Good Eats, for years, and rejoiced when he released his book Good Eats: The Early Years. Which means we're positively giddy now that his second installment, Good Eats 2: The Middle Years ($23), has hit shelves. We're looking forward to making perfect omelets and watching the included DVD for tips on carving turkey and making macaroons. Trust us, you'll grow more food savvy with the turn of every page!
