We're pretty certain we'd spit our meal at you if you tried to feed us mashed peas from a bottle, too. We try to cook from scratch and rarely buy boxed mixes for our own grown cooking, so we were fans of this book Cooking For Baby ($13) to feed our little brood. Author Lisa Barnes started changing the way children eat by first offering cooking classes and workshops to parents and then publishing her nutritious cookbook. We love the idea of preparing our baby's meals from fresh ingredients rather than relying on store bought purees which can be loaded with preservatives and pesticides. Who's with us?
