How meta is this? Book Lust ($11), compiled by Nancy Pearl, is simply a series of descriptive lists of recommended reading. Sound too junior high school? Oh no no, not with list topics like great first sentences, noir, baseball, tearjerkers, and robots. You're certain to be going through it with a pencil, marking off everything that sounds interesting - and you'll have a better way of finding something to read than going to where they shelve that author you already like and scanning the spines of the books by people whose last names start with the same letter.
