Faleiro investigates and writes about the underground world of India's sex industry in prose that reads like a thriller. She follows the emotions and struggles of nineteen-year-old Leela and her relationships in and out of the dance bar Night Lovers. We read this one off of a recommendation, but we wish we had saved it for our book club pick so we could spend an evening with our girlfriends dissecting the book's secrets over several glasses of wine.
