Leather-Bound Pink Webster's Collegiate Dictionary
One of our editor's college professors really made a mark on her life. And one of the things that professor said was, "Buy a dictionary. Preferably one that will be catastrophically destructive if thrown." The internet is great and all, but sometimes it's nice to go back to the basics. Especially if they're as lovely as the Leather-Bound Pink Webster's Collegiate Dictionary ($92). Let's see: will look great on your shelf? Check. Will do some major damage if thrown? Check. It's a winner!
PS We don't advise really throwing a 10 lb. dictionary across a room. It's a bad idea.
