The hunt for our first home is daunting, but it's easy and modern when we go modular. The Dwell Homes Collection presents the Skyline Series, a configurable system of four floor plans that produce six houses to the homeowner's specifications, all designed for urban living. These small architectural gems feel like updated Case Study Houses of mid-century fame . . . We figured we'd feature the starting point of this project, the Skyline 1.2 Model House ($550,000-$750,000), a 1758 square-foot one-story, two bedroom, one bath that says start-up and settle-down in style. If building a "pre-fab home" hits a chord, great. It's just a suggestion.
