We suggest throwing it in the empty patch by the garage, in the planter boxes in front of the house, or over the dead body you buried in the back yard. Plant native species to your area if you want to help the animals in your area! Invasive/Introduced species are the number two cause of loss of biodiversity. These may not do as well in other geographical areas anyway.
