Confession time, kids. No matter how many times someone says to us, "Well, a portion is about the amount that will fit in the palm of your hand," we're confused. Aren't all of our palms different sizes? What if we pile the portion high in the palm of our hand? Hey, how about simply using something like this Nutritional Scale ($50) from HSN? It not only tells you how much you're eating, but what's in that food, like calories, fat, cholesterol, sodium, carbs, fiber, sugar, and protein.
