When we bake a cake, we find it exceedingly difficult not to immediately tear into that warm, delectable-smelling confection the second we remove it from the oven. Er, um, we mean, even with toothpicks, we find it difficult to judge the doneness of a cake without mangling it. Yeah, that's it. That's TOTALLY why we need the Nibble Cake Pan ($22), so we can sample the mini cake to make sure the maxi cake is baked to perfection. That's totally why we need this pan.
Okay, so maybe we need the little one so we can slather frosting on it right away and cram it into our gaping maws without destroying the beautiful work of art we baked for a friend's birthday. It's kind of rude to show up to a party with a cake that has slices taken out of it, right? Right.
