Measurement Conversion Apron
We’re cooking from scratch a lot more these days, in an effort to save money and avoid processed ingredients, but as we’ve told you before, math ain’t our strong suit. So when we find a great recipe for, say, Blueberry Cream Coffee Cake, but want to reduce it by half and bake it in muffin tins… we’re at a loss, and have to resort to Googling with dough-covered fingers. Never good for the laptop, but just guessing at the answer can yield unpalatable results. A faithful Outblush reader just told us about this Measurement Conversion Apron, ($19) and all we can say is, SOLD! Printed upside-down on the bottom of the apron is a basic cooking measurement conversion chart, so you just flip up the apron and find your answer, right there in the kitchen! The chart includes measurement conversions for cups to ounces to tablespoons to teaspoons, and common baking pan substitutions. [Thanks, Jenn!]
