Large Carved Root Bowl
We appreciate pieces that make us feel something, and we know you do, too, which is why we're going to tell you the story of the journey that the Large Carved Root Bowl ($80) takes from birth to your dining table. The bowl is carved from the root of Shan Mu fir trees that grow in the mountains of Central China. These trees are cut down, which enables rapid reforestation, and the stump is then carved into a raw and natural piece.
