Hug Mug
Although you don't exactly hug it while drinking out of it (okay, you could, but it would make a huge mess) you do sort of cradle the Hug Mug ($9) in your hands, and it is indeed a sweet, comforting experience. The Hug Mug was designed to be the perfect hot chocolate vessel, warming your hands and allowing the fragrance of the drink to reach you as you lift it to your face. It succeeds on all counts.
We got to take one for a test drive at the brand-new Max Brenner cafe in Las Vegas this past weekend, and so we also have to put in some good words for the delicious food, the excellent staff (Brenda? Do you read Outblush?) and of course the chocolate. And no, there were no free samples at all. They don't even know we're writing this. But the next time you're in Vegas, totally go.
