Fresh Snack Packs

Packing your own lunch is a)cheaper, b)healthier, and c)better for the environment than foam takeout containers. But using paper and plastic disposable bags isn’t all that eco-sound, and the cost adds up after awhile. What’s a frugalista to do? (sorry, we hate that word too…) Get yourself a set of the reusable Fresh Snack Packs, ($4.50-$5.50) of course! They’re reusable, durable pouch-shaped plastic bags that come in sandwich & snack sizes, and just need warm water & soap to clean (dishwashers not recommended). No more baggies clogging up landfills, yummy homemade lunches, and you could use ‘em as a shield should any food fights break out. We can’t think of any downsides to this.
