Fox Run Egg Piercer
There are a million kitchen products out there, mostly gadgets and doodads that end up collecting dust and taking up valuable space. But we took a chance when we purchased the Egg Piercer ($5) from Fox Run. It's small, so the space thing isn't an issue. AND we use it...all the time, so dust does not do any collecting! Before boiling eggs, use the piercer to punch a small hole in each shell to eliminate cracking. You can't get much simpler or handier than that.
