In pinstripe and other clean black and white fashion patterns, these mugs are chic, and their shape is different from your daily mug routine. We wonder if the cool stacked rim has practical insulating properties or if it's just there to be bold.

It's not insulating at all, it's just there to be pretty. Just don't fill it the all the way up if you're drinking something warm cos you can't really hold it.
