Bengt & Lotta Bird Dish
It really doesn't matter what you keep in this Bengt & Lotta Bird Cake Dish ($150), it's just too damn adorable not to own. At 8x8, it's a good size for serving appetizers, or a cake (as the name would imply), but it would also be just lovely with some candles placed on it - not to mention the fantastic bird-shaped shadows that would cast. We'd even keep it on our dresser to hold perfume or catch our jewelry.
