Ana Palacios Blown Glass Shakers
At first glance, these Blown Glass Salt and Pepper Shakers ($75) may conjure up some images much more explicit than a curious sea-cucumber exploring the sea bottom . . . but we assure you, dear readers, you can keep these on your kitchen table without blushing (and at only 4 1/2 inches they won't do anything for us anyway). Glass and metals artist Ana Palacios, designed these functional pieces of art, and consequently hypnotized us with the swirling colors and playfully curvy shape. A conversation-starter at the very least, these will keep everything well seasoned and colorful.
