The washer features Energy Star technology, which senses just the right amount of water and correct temperature for each item. Optional SmartDispense technology (tack on another $600) allows you to store up to six months worth of detergent and fabric softener, so you can literally just throw in clothes and go. Meanwhile, the dryer boasts a built-in drying rack and reverse (read: faster) tumbler action. Plus, its sleek design and multiple color options means the Frontloader is attractive enough to put in your living room if you're into showing off.
