Okay, so $175 is a lot of money to spend on a beach towel. But let's just think about it for a minute. All of our other beach towels are made of terrycloth. Terrycloth collects sand, turning drying off into an act of either extreme exfoliation or mild torture. It also takes forever to dry, which means that if we dare to use the same towel for two trips in a row to the beach, we're likely to end up smelling like a mildewed sock. This Pegasus GoThrow ($175), on the other hand, is made from high quality linen. Sand slides off of it, which means we get a towel instead of 40-Grit sandpaper. It also dries in a snap. And we get twice as much surface area in a package that rolls up to something about the size of a newspaper - and we're not talking about the Sunday edition. Sounds a little more worthwhile, doesn't it?

Yes! Bring on the linen revolution! I've been waiting for people to discover how linen>cotton on the beach! Here are some other linen beach towels that rock from Deck Towel. I love my bright stripes on the white sand!
