We like the way these Oskar Zieta & Hay's Plopp Metal Stools ($525) look, but what really interests us is how they're made. Get this: welded sheets of steel are inflated (like a balloon) using high-pressure air. As the steel cools, it crumples. That crumpled steel is shaped into these ultra light-weight stools, which we see as little works of art.
