On one hand, the Melting Clock ($12) is a pretty good homage to Salvador Dalí's most famous painting. It looks just like the drooping timepieces in The Persistence of Memory. On the other hand, it's a working clock that keeps accurate time, which is kind of the antithesis of Dalí's idea. If you're cool with that, balance the melted clock on any flat surface. You'll have a reliable timepiece to glance at when you're running late for another day at work.
